About the publisher

Clear aquarium decisions, with the limits left visible.

AquaDepth is the aquarium-planning publication at AquariumCompass.com. It connects care profiles, compatibility checks and practical tools to one version-controlled evidence model.

01

What we publish

Care profiles, tank-mate guides, identification comparisons and calculators designed to help keepers plan around adult space, water overlap, social needs and behaviour—not shop size or a single stocking shortcut.

02

Who is responsible

AquaDepth Editorial is an organisational byline for the people and systems responsible for research, data maintenance, testing and corrections. It is not presented as a named veterinarian or specialist qualification.

03

How trust is earned

Every decision page shows its review date and links to methodology, evidence and corrections. Welfare-critical claims are handled conservatively; uncertainty remains visible, and published reports cannot be changed directly by a public submission.

04

Where automation is used

Structured records generate repeated measurements and compatibility checks so the same animal is not described differently across tools. The photo identifier uses a vision model to suggest a catalogue match, labels uncertainty and never replaces human confirmation or professional care.

05

What we do not claim

AquaDepth does not diagnose disease, prescribe treatment or guarantee that individual animals will coexist. A named specialist-review layer will only be published when the reviewer’s identity, remit and permission can be verified.
